PS I hate school. Aka am procrastinating on studying for my giant psychology test this evening. Le Bleh is what I have to say, Le Bleh.

So, being on an alright financial footing of late I decided to treat myself a bit with some money I had. I went shopping and bought some things... xmas present for mom (a bunch of clinique stuff that she loves) a nice coat for me..one of those cute furry hooded ones (ys, I know I am essentially still 15) and etc etc.

 

I also decidd to buy myself... some tanning time. Now I have never tanned before.... so I did some research online about etiquette and such (e.g. most go naked, they wipe the booth down for you so you don't have too, always wear your goggles to avoid the sun damage to your retinas, which beds are better etc etc). So armed with this knowledge I fewlt fairly confident.

 

I went in and talked to the lady, purchased my minutes and some of their disgustingly priced moisture rich tanning lotion (50$ for a lil tube!!!!! least it smells good) and headed to it. Now she , after I explaind my history of burning, suggested I go in for about 8 minutes. So into the little room I went, got ready and lotioned up, and put on my little goggles and got into the tanning bed.

 

And laid there for 8 minutes FREEZING Yes, freezing!!! Their fan was soooo strong it not only removed the excess heat from insid the bed... but ALL the heat inside it.

After the 8 minutes were done I got out, wiped the bed down to be nice and redressed myself to head out to the rest of my day.

 

Everything seemed to be going fine until about 7 pm. When suddenly I noticed my face seemed a little pink in the mirror. Upon inspection I discovered that my chest, stomach,knees lovehandles and a few random patches were pink. And not like... a little pink. We are talking full blown tacky towel pink. I know because I matched the colours to a tacky pink towel.

 

I was saddened. Very saddened. Though I had known this was a possibility from the beginning.

 

 

 

BUT!

 

 

In good news, about waking today (all the tanning occureds yesterday) I am not pink! yay! not that I am really any browner either. *sigh*

 

I'll keep you postd on this new adventure.

Alright. First,  THANK YOU commentors!!! It is nic to have someone reading my mindless posts onc again.  Scond, I am going to start blogging again but currently find I have nothing to really write about.

 

Ummm, I had sunnyside up eggs, sausage, toast, hashbrowns and a cinnamon bun for breakfast?  *sigh* LAME! I won a chess game against a seven year old this morning and found it an accomplishment? Also LAME!  Lame, the word describing my life of late.

 

But I will change that. For you. That's right. YOU!
